Peace and quiet & enjoying nature in Carinthia
The Nassfeld-Pressegger See region also offers ideal conditions for a carefree break close to nature, away from the hustle and bustle. Accessible mountain railways and wheelchair-friendly paths enable every guest to explore the Carinthian Alps at their own pace – for those with reduced mobility, there is even a Swiss-Trac available to hire on site. The accessible panoramic route from the Egger Alm to the Dellacher Alm is particularly recommended for walkers of all speeds. The approximately 7.7-kilometre-long, fully tarmac-surfaced path leads through the Carnic Alps with only a gentle incline, past flowering mountain meadows and the idyllic Egger Almsee. Along the route, accessible rest areas with comfortable benches invite you to linger, whilst mountain huts serving food and drink, step-free toilets and – from June to October – an accessible mountain shuttle ensure completely carefree excursions. Those who love the water will find the ideal place to relax at Lake Pressegger See. The wide, level promenade runs alongside the reed beds and offers magnificent views of the glistening water and the mountain backdrop – perfect for long walks, a wheelchair ride or simply a peaceful moment in nature.
